Intelligent Hospital Bed Maps

Intelligent Hospital Bed Maps (IHBM) is an add-on module that works with existent Hospital Information Systems and enables graphical mapping of the entire bed inventory through physical campus>building>floor>area layouts. IHBM helps improve bed utilization and turnaround with proactive monitoring and management.

Optimized utilization of existent bed inventory is dictated by nationwide trends including:

  • Lack of bed supply
  • Increasing admissions
  • Increasing diversions
  • Complexity of certification process to add beds
  • Long and increasing admin times

Enterprise, Regional, and Facility House Supervisors (dispatchers) as well as nursing units, EVS, and Transportation can conveniently view and communicate bed statuses and related tasks at ANY level throughout the entire departmental and physical hospital enterprise structure. “Blue Print” navigation is intuitive and easy to use, even for new customers.
